How long has this mod been underdevelopment? Does it have a very big team? Have any of them worked on previous mods that have been released? Just wondering the likely time span until something basic is available to try. The game info on the web site seems alittle vague on alot of stuff to. Is it just going to be half life 2 with 40k models or is there going to be significant changes to make it more unique? Are there going to be any 'special featurs'. What kind of player load is the game being aimed at, and as such how large will the maps be? Erm thats all for the moment. It will not be a "basic deathmatch", if that's what you're asking. The gameplay has been discussed on this forum (you can find the threads easily): it will be a team,objective based fight in wich one team is composed by the tactical Space Marine squad, while the other team is composed by the Tyranids. The Tyranids players will be the synapse chreatures, capable to direct and command a small brood of AI bots. Surely some other one will explain you better, since I'm a bit in an hurry :D Anyway, welcome! 2# about 10 people on the team doing various thing, although right now a good few are heavily involved with universaty work and unable to do much (personally the odd news update and answering questions is about all i can manage) 3# the entire team has been involved with the development of other mods, specifically with Rival Species, the hl1 version ( www.rivalspecies.com ) as well as a few other mods. 4# It will be a while before any public release, we have a lot to do. 5# there will be a sizable change, only the engine will be as origional. Different team, weapon selection, gameplay, stuff like that. Read the synapse mode thing for more info. Everything else it To be decided after the first version goes public so we can see what reactions are and where changes or improvements need to be made. |
