Another mod I really like called smashball did the exact same thing and the weekly games are still going strong. I would be willing to make the group and organize a time for anyone interested if that is OK with the Dev team. Generally 12:00 noon est is the best because the Europe people have it later in the evening and even the people on the west coast of america only need to get up by 9:00 or something.

We have an existing steam community group ( http://steamcommunity.com/groups/rivalspecies2 ). It could be put to better use. Now people are actial starting to use steam groups we should probably add it to the homepage :P
