Title: Ex Server etc Post by: CmD.M.Richards on January 10, 2011, 01:21:31 AM Hey Guys im the leader of the clan right hand of the emperor and other than the saturday and sunday regulars i get loads of people online like 2 hours ago it took me 10 mins to get about 10 people playing and i was wondering about making a server for my clan so we could have training etc and i could make us a training map because then it will be ALOT easier to get a large playerbase when the game ahs active proffessional clans and i can get players from the game resistance and liberation onboard to due to the fact most of them have played Dawn of war and are good friends of mine so i may be able to even get the same playerbase on this game as they have which is about 100+ people who play this game and large matches GUARANTEED each day so if you guys could either host a dedicated server for us or explain to me how to get one up and running without needing two accounts then RHE would be in your debt

Now i followed the instructions in the manual and tried to do both an listen server and a dedicated. So i downloaded the synergy dedicated server like it says and followed the directions. However when I try to start the game a error shows up with "c:/program/gameinfo.txt is missing" Now what is going on and where am i supposed to put the text file to get it and ex to work at the same time? Or can I only have one at a time?

Title: Re: Ex Server etc Post by: kingofnee on January 18, 2011, 09:32:00 PM Yeah, the txt is in the mod folder. I copied it to the synergy folder and such. But that didn't work. It's just weird. The mod will run but the server won't start due to that problem. I got it to sort of set up the server by moving the txt file into the synergy folder, but then of course I couldn't start the mod.
