Hello all, just wanted to show some of my work - enjoy.

Made in 3DS max - Photoshop textures.

The work was just produced as a sideline to what I normally do, thought you all might be interested

Yes, the bolter is really really cool though it looks a lot like the old marine bolter.

The helmet seems to be pretty nice too. It would be nice to get more pics of it from other angles.

Cheers - i could render out the helm from different angles, I would have to dig it out but im currently working on a much larger project or Marneus Calgar...

The bolter does look like the old Ed2 bolters but oddly enough its a scale version of the new bolters we have today... I think its the colours or somthing.

the bolter is supposed to be larger in height to be more correct (to be precise, the overlaying black area)

looks really nice though :)

I know it sounds really anal this but I measured it with a very small ruler _ I admit I think the bolter has more verticle height but it might just be the angle...

Almost looks better.... anyhows, the works is quite old now, back to a marneus Calgar :)

Really cool...
Even though it's not down at texture-size or polycount for an in-game model, it could be cool for a loading-screen or something.

well its got nothing to do with RS2: EX, so no as we ony use content thats made for our mod specifically, cant use anythng else or the IP gets iffy.

Cool model tho, nicely rendered

i do hope thats not a scan from a GW book, since that would be copywrite infringement and thus a danger to this project...

I hope it doesn't meet any legal problems, but I haven't seen any other 40K mods go bad.

the legal issues are indeed complex and other mods have been shut down by GW (and i know one thats highly liable to be shut down if they ever release it).

were ok because:
its our own models made specifically for this mod.
We continually accknowelege GWs ownage of all materials
were non profit, no donations, nothing.
Firewarrior sucked and GW aint doign any other FPS games at this time.

Were using the same rules set when RS1 was created by GW themselfs and will comply with any changes GW makes if issued in writing to us. We have to really.

However if GW suddenly decide to shut us down there is nothing we can do aboout it other than turn off the server and wipe the archive.
