Title: Invalid Steam user ID ticket Post by: sumrandumcow on March 12, 2012, 02:52:35 AM If anyone is getting the steam ID ticket error I found out a fix. Go into / my computer / local disc / program files / steam / then scroll down til you see a config folder, delete this, you will need to check your e-mail for the code to verify steam but launch Exterminatus and it should work, I hope this helps anyone with this problem.

Really.I used your technique first, when it re-occurred I tried the .blob method. It hasn't re-occurred since. I don't think their can be a permanent fix with a self updating system like Steam ( until Valve fix it anyway ).
