Mine's the Psycannon. It's fast, strong and simple. I also like the Grenade Launcher too, because again, it's fast, strong and simple. Title: Favourite gun(s)? Post by: ChromeAngel on October 19, 2006, 09:42:03 PM Heavy bolters, I cant get enough of them. Cheap. Strong enough to wound most infantry on 2+ and stand some chance against most armor. Loads of shots, so it doesnt matter how bad your BS is (or optimizes if you've got good BS). The range is not bad either.

I mean - it's a heavy weapon, but if you turn it in to an assault weapon you would just be aboe to go on a massive rampage with it. That would be cool...

I like them all :P (as long as they kill stuff so no Grot blasta maybe), but if I have to name one it would be maybe the boltgun. It's surprisingly effective when within 12" and has some real attitude.

or a heavy bolter. think about bullets caliber of 100-150 flying right over your head. thats just crazy when youre thinking that a tanks normal caliber is 125.... no im not a nerd, im just interested about weapons.... On second rank, Barbed strangler, because moving freely and shooting artillery-like template that insta-kills Nobz, Marines and whatever is unlucky enough to fail his save roll is just purely awesome, if the target survives, it's still pinned down, last but not the least it's also a decent anti tank weapon ! Probably the weapon that scored the most kills in my army (Hundreds and hundreds of Imps/Boyz/Fire warriors have fallen to my fexes with that lovely weapon..) For Rival Species : Typheron's rocket launcher, Alhaus Lasercannon... How painful these memories are ! My personal bets are on chain sword + bolter pistol aka "Slash and shot down" (If you peeps remember the raptor/assaut marine/sarge rampage with that combo on the chaos/BT map with force fields or IW/BT with fortress generator) and shuriken catapult, the best if not overpowered basic gun : Insanely accurate, fastest rate of fire, decent damages, large magazines. It has a decent amount of shots, so it's practical for killing anything up to and include a fire warrior (Splat!), and can do a respectable bit of damage to most vehicles too.
