Title: Loading screens Post by: ChromeAngel on February 03, 2013, 10:14:53 PM Some time back I introduced into EX a feature where each map can have it's own loading screen. The idea being give player extra information about the map that was coming up. Due to the brief time it's displayed I attempted to present this information in graphical way with an overview of each map with the main routes and objectives shown. In retrospect this is a bit like giving someone a London tube map and expecting them to find there way about on the streets.
In Beta 7.25 the loading screen image was expanded to full-screen, rather than a fixed size as in previous builds. This made the existing loading screen look crushed and even uglier. So i'm trying to re-design the loading screen. The following are some ideas i've tried out for the city_conflict loading screen.
