Title: Back for another round of Alpha tests Post by: ChromeAngel on September 18, 2013, 09:58:38 PM I've decided to try and polish EX up a bit more, so there will be a few more alpha builds over the next few weeks. I'm hoping to reach some kind of solid foundation for a version 1 release later this year. This patch is aimed at the larger issues reported in Beta 7.50 , while trying not to change too many things at once (it makes it hard to see exactly what change is having what effect).

If you have problems installing or running this patch visit the Steam Community Game Group, chat room on Steam. I'll be there to offer advice during testing times (please be patient, I will be in-game, participating in the test at the same time). Continuing my series of recent chapter packs I would like to present you with the new Dark Angels chapter skin pack. Powerfist was better, Stormbolter was now too inaccurate. Venom Cannon needs to hit harder and have a bigger splash (needs some tuning). Scaling up the Rhino broke Tarsis_ultra (radar dish objective became inaccessible. Lictor talons were fine. Flamer was still a little weak, were going to try 20 damage per flame next time. Chainsword and Powersword seemed fine. Scheduled an extra test for Tuesday due to poor attendance on Saturday. Title: Re: Back for another round of Alpha tests Post by: Stahlhagel on September 30, 2013, 11:43:29 PM good work bringing some much requested changes into this patch.
keep in mind we could have some problems if you overbuff flamer damage, beasts with bigger hitboxes might get killed too fast by it while the small ones get away. |
