Alpha 8.17 includes new sounds from StormWolf 597 and DostAsk, updated versions of ex_hive, ex_forge and ex_orbital, an improved versions of the terminator or forcefield pylon models.

The FTP is on the blink again, so i'm relying on ModDB to authorise and distribute this version.

Install the Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer
  • Navigate to the "Tools" section on your Steam games "Library"
  • Install the "Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer"
  • Run the Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer at least once.
  • You can exit once the menu has finished loading.

Install the latest Exterminatus Alpha
  • If you already have a copy of the EX alpha, delete it.
  • Run the alpha installer and follow it's instructions.
  • Restart Steam.  You should now see both the Exterminatus Beta 8 and Exterminatus Alpha listed in your library.


Features
  • 3 New Battle cries by StormWolf597.
  • A large number of new ambient sound effects and new soundscapes for all EX map by DontAsk.
  • Restored connections between the "side rooms" and "start rooms" on ex_hive and blocked them with locked doors that unlock when the side rooms are captured.

Balance
  • Lictors must now fully uncloak to attack, making them particularly vulnerable while uncloaking.

Bug Fix
  • Fixed some un-textured areas on ex_forge and added some minor texture detailing around the marine start.

Tweak
  • Added a high detail terminator cross to the terminator armor and updated the Bloodravens terminator skin.
  • Added a high detail LOD to the forcefield pylon prop (most noticeable on ex_city_conflict)
  • Added a some power hum sound to the powersword attack.
