Title: Wish to help Post by: Corpgus on May 29, 2008, 07:43:40 AM First off let me state that I don't have that many skills with the moding tools. I know a little about hammer but I still consider myself a noob.
I am however a diehard fan of Epic 40k As I have played both Dawn of War and Linal Liberation. I also play both Space Marines and Nids on Tabletop (Though my Space Marines are considerably better.) I'm look to help mainly for experience and because I am a big fan of Warhammer 40,000. Above all else, I am willing to learn and would love to contribute to this mod in some way. -Thanks Corp Title: Wish to help Post by: Typheron on May 29, 2008, 12:15:50 PM I would suggest then you look into mapping in Hammer, the tool is free if you own any source based game and there are a lot of tutorials out there on how to do things.
For the sake of simplicity i would advice a internal map of some kind, perhaps a simple team deathmatch in a bunker or other enclosed enviroment. Our MDK v2 is available to give you access to props and the entities we use in the maps (see the front page links to find it). |
