On second rank, Barbed strangler, because moving freely and shooting artillery-like template that insta-kills Nobz, Marines and whatever is unlucky enough to fail his save roll is just purely awesome, if the target survives, it's still pinned down, last but not the least it's also a decent anti tank weapon !
Probably the weapon that scored the most kills in my army (Hundreds and hundreds of Imps/Boyz/Fire warriors have fallen to my fexes with that lovely weapon..)

For Rival Species : Typheron's rocket launcher, Alhaus Lasercannon... How painful these memories are ! My personal bets are on chain sword + bolter pistol aka "Slash and shot down" (If you peeps remember the raptor/assaut marine/sarge rampage with that combo on the chaos/BT map with force fields or IW/BT with fortress generator) and shuriken catapult, the best if not overpowered basic gun : Insanely accurate, fastest rate of fire, decent damages, large magazines.

it has to be noted that it's not from me. I wished =p. It's still awesomely cool and inspiring.

I don't think Marines bother with building pretty stuff when skirmishing , they most of the time drop pod on your head , "death from the sky" on your back , or teleport in the bathroom of your renegade IG commander before doing their job.

I think the game ll rely on that kind of stuff for reinforcement : Drop pods/webway gates/spores/Orky equivalent , but they ll only be triggerable at some places ( An orbital station/radar/comlink for marines , gate for eldars , spore tower for nids or breeding thing etc... ).

So , you ll have to take care much more of your dudes in DOW2 than in DOW : "yeah let's send this scout squad into melee with the banshee , so i can shot them down with my tactical squad" is out of question , and it's good.

I want action and cinematic-like ass whooping, not starcraft minutious units creating and timed base assaults...

Incredible scenery, kickass skins.. To bad the DoW eavy shoota sounding/shooting bolt pistol/bolter thingy breaks the mood.

But this game shows great potential, let's w&s.
