I'm just glad I was able to help.  Smiley

Howdy.

I'll be making a nuisance of myself on these forums, I'm sure.

I'm sorry if someone's already brought up value suggestions for the Bolter.

When I first started playing, I was a little surprised at how slowly the Bolter fired - it felt more like a semi-automatic weapon than the weapon I was used to reading or seeing in games like Dawn of War.

So, I decided I wanted to mess around with the ex_bolter_rof command tonight. My original goal was just to find a decent speed for a full auto weapon, but realized that if I set it too fast that it would be hard for people to use the ever-useful three-round-burst firing mode.

I think I found a sweet spot.

I'll be trying to set up a (crappy) server designed to test out the value "ex_bolter_rof .236". With a little practice, I can reliably perform three round bursts, and when holding down the mouse button it fires like I would have expected a bolter to actually fire.

This leads to an interesting phenomenon where the first three rounds lead to a sudden spike in recoil, but after that the gun more or less settles down as it continues firing.
