i was trying to host a server to test
and i failed many times
At first
I was using hamachi for direct connection and people was trying to connect to me through hamachi ip
good thing - there is a connection and hamachi does its job well
bad thing - server which was created was LAN type
even sv_lan 0 won't help

Then , i've tryed synergy dedicated server
At first i've got messages like
"Missing file C:/Program/gameinfo.txt"
Then i created that folder and placed only .txt file , doesnt work
then i placed there entire mod , and it worked ,BUT , i couldn't connect to myself
The error message is saying that i've got wrong directory ( ex is invalid , must be program)

Quote
COM_CheckGameDirectory: game directories don't match (exterminatus / Program)

How the heck should i manage this tool to search for this mod in sourcemod files?

When you say you tried synergy dedicated server do you mean the method documented in the EX manual ( http://www.40ksource.com/common/wiki_manual/index.php/Hosting_a_server )?

The problem where the server thinks it is a LAN server even when sv_lan is 0 is usually where the server cannot communicate with Valve's master game servers (their is another bunch of port numbers then need to be open in any firewalls for it to do this).  I don't have the port ranges to hand, you'll need to search the help on steampowered.com for them, beware there is more than 1 support article about this topic and some are out of date or incomplete.  Also changing level via the console once the server has started has been known to help.

The dedicated server should just list files from the source mods folder.

the C:/Program/ part looks like a path is being used in the command line but not quoted (you need to put quote marks around any paths with spaces in them).  This happens a lot with files and folders inside C:/Program Files/ .  This is why I try and install programs anywhere other then "program files" when i have the option.

so its huge fail for me
dedicated server - reinstall entire steam with all the shit.....pain in the ass even with easiest way
and setuping hammer again for all mods....damn...

opening ip in my router another pain in the ass , some wise-butt-headed-persone adviced my parents to buy a router which now , not only out of the deal , also out of support
brilliant! (and we cant afford another router now and if we could , another setupping butthurt for 3 PC's)
