After the bloodangel skins proved fairly straightforward to make and quite popular (even though the dedicated servers were not working quite right) I decided to go ahead and make a few more chapter skin packs.


Installation
  • Install EX beta 7.50 (if not already installed)
  • Extract the zip file to your steam/steamapps/sourcemods folder (this should overwrite lots of files and folder inside the ex folder).

To revert to playing with Ultramarines simply install the Ultramarine skin pack.


CozmicShredder sends his apologies for the broken server.  It is up and running again now.  Apparently the nightly build of Source Mod he's running was too bleeding edge, so he's gone back to a more stable version.

After Action Report - 14th September 2013
I'm quite pleased with the turnout for tonight’s little game.  Seeing a busy server made it feel well worth the effort of putting together those skin packs.

Unlike what i'd been told by players sine the release of 7.50 the Venom Cannon and Missile launcher did not overwhelm or dominate the gameplay.  A noob (you know who you are) had even complained that the nid classes were overpowered, when marines won or drew most of tonight's rounds.

If I was clearer on what needed changing a patch or balance fix would be quicker to produce, but i'm getting mixed signals.  The most obviiously wrong thing I did notice was terminator storm bolters being weirdly accurate at long range.  I recall buffing them before 7.50, but that was ridiculous...
