Alpha 8.07C includes updated soundscapes from DontAsk, updates to ex_valley and ex_thunderhawk. New sound effects including a new heavy bolter sound effect by DontAsk. It's not 8.08 because there are still no changes to the code, but you will need the patch to play on the updated maps.
Installer
Zip File Patch (contains only the changes since the previous alpha)
- Navigate to the "Tools" section on your Steam games "Library"
- Install the "Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer"
- Run the Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer at least once.
- You can exit once the menu has finished loading.
Install the latest Exterminatus Alpha- If you already have a copy of the EX alpha, delete it.
- Run the alpha installer and follow it's instructions.
- Restart Steam. You should now see both the Exterminatus Beta 8 and Exterminatus Alpha listed in your library.
Tweaks- New ambient sound effect for ex_thunderhawk by DontAsk.
- New bolt weapon sounds by DontAsk, most noticeably the heavy bolter.
- Updated ex_valley, fixing some missing lights in the 8.08B build.
- Updated ex_thunderhawk with new soudnscapes and Levianthan infestation.
