Hey guys.

Well i've been mapping for Call of duty 4 (COD4) for over a year, which has got me to a pretty high level.. With the lack of mod capablities in COD4, I fancied trying the Source SDK. This is similar to COD4 Radiant in aspects; the only thing for me to really get used to is the view ports haha. So anyways, as I am an enormous DoW fan, I really am happy to contribute my own time to this mod.

Anyways abit about meh:

Im 16 from England UK, I am very easy going (Especially on a DoW FPS). I have very recently been accepted into college for my software/game development course (Woot). I enjoy mapping, and when I focus I can spend a few hours on end lol.

My xfire is: Dawnowar

I'm not asking for a team place, if I am given one, I will take it. But I will work on a DOW map for this mod, regardless on being on a team or not.

Welcome to the forum.  I look forward to seeing what you can do.  If you need any help with the EX entities just give me a shout.

I have always found Hammer (or Worldcraft as it was back in ye olde days) to be far easier to use than Radiant, although I haven't looked at the COD version.  FYI you can change the views in hammer by clicking on the top left of the view and picking the new view from the list and resize them just by dragging the divider.   You should be able to lay it out much like Radiants default if you want.

Yeah, I made a few test maps, they worked fine Smiley Only problem was is that there was no HUD (For ammo etc) Anyways, it's pretty similar to COD as I said earlier, so I will map for you guys. Anything imperticular? Maybe a smallish/medium sized map? I'm just thinking of that if its like 3v3 for example, people want fast paced action. Totally up to u.

Something in the style of a wilderness maybe? outdoors, valleys, rocks, grass.  If you haven't used Source's displacements before a more urban, war torn city might be better.  I tend to let inspiration drive me when it comes to choosing map themes.
