Alpha 8.14D includes an improved version of ex_forge, with a new skybox and updated marine battle cries. This is a D patch as none of the code has changed since 8.14, just mod assets.
The FTP is on the blink again, so i'm relying on ModDB to authorise and distribute this version.
Install the Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer- Navigate to the "Tools" section on your Steam games "Library"
- Install the "Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer"
- Run the Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer at least once.
- You can exit once the menu has finished loading.
Install the latest Exterminatus Alpha- If you already have a copy of the EX alpha, delete it.
- Run the alpha installer and follow it's instructions.
- Restart Steam. You should now see both the Exterminatus Beta 8 and Exterminatus Alpha listed in your library.
Tweaks- Edited down the battle cries recorded by Stormwolf 597 to make the a little snappier.
- Preparing for chapter specific battle cries.
- Vox commands can now be bound individualy to keys via the Options->Keyboard menu.
- ex_forge, now with more details, updated lighting and a new skybox made by DontAsk in SpaceEngine
- Added eye glow to the veteran class.
- Revised Thunderhawk normal map.
The final marine chapter pack update is now complete, with the Spacewolves chapter rounding out the selection.
