I have spent the last week fixing the bugs that were reported during last week's alpha test.  Hopefully we should be able to test some of the gameplay this week.

Deutsch sprechende Spieler interessiert, Maronedone's Übersetzung von EX in  Deutsch versuchen könnte.

Storm bolter now does no damage to the Carnifex. :/
Also the SB needs tighter spread, Zoanthropes shouldn't be dodging it.

After Action Report 7.91
Poor turnout this weekend, possibly due to daylight savings time.  Looks like not all the player movement code was ported  as un-crouching changes the players maximum speed.

I'm still getting some judder when running as a tyranid, maybe some maxspeed limit going on there.

Bugs
  • Tarsis_ultra is missing some of it's sky textures.
  • Flamer is missing it's 3rd person effect.
  • Turret falls through terrain at the last stand objective on tarsis ultra.
  • Player count on scorebaord shows total players not players on the team.
  • Crouching and un-crouching seems to give you  the speed and view of a HL2MP player, even as a tyranid.

Balance
  • Stormbolter is now too weak, even when buffed to 22.

Suggestions
  • Allow termy to sprint.
  • Reduce SB spread.

the new storm bolter is exactly the kind of feel that weapon should give you.

not so sure about the too low damage, id need to test it more, however the kickback and accuracy could use a buff.

id rather have a slightly faster rof, very slighlty less kickback and slightly more accuracy, with again compensation for damage. since youre firing faster now you wont be paying too much attention that every shot hits, so maybe more ammo might be good.

as for termie sprinting, heck no. termies are meant to be less mobile than other classes. you could buff the standard speed for a marginal amount instead, though theres no reason for that.
