Please report any graphical, sound or gameplay bugs in this thread.  

One bug per post please, it will help us keep organized.  

Exploits should be reported privately to leader@40ksource.com to prevent further proliferation.  

Griefers should be reported to you server operator.

Please read the whole thread before posting, someone else may have already reported the same issue.  Reports should include a brief description of the issue, the steps to re-create it and screenshots or logs as appropriate. 
As this is a open Beta, there will be issues and with your help we can log them, fix them and make the game better.

The "Burning Bug" is a known issue with the EX Beta where the player starts hearing a crackling burning sound all the time.

There is no known set of steps to reproduce this issue.  If you find a sequence to reproduce this bug please let me know.

Remedy : restarting the server or changing the map has been known to fix this issue.

Note: Appears to be a client-side bug, not all players hear it.  The Carnifex scream attack seemed to shift the origin to where the last attack came from.

The "ALT-TAB HUD bug" is a known issue with the EX Beta where the player uses ALT-TAB to switch focus to another application, when the player switches back to EX the HUD elements are misaligned or unmasked.

Remedy : Changing map or reconnecting to the server will force the HUD to reset.

Workaround : When multi-tasking run EX in windowed mode, this only seems to happen when playing full screen.

The "Dancing Lictor Bug" effects the ragdolls of Lictor class tyranids, causing them to wriggle, bounce, jitter and jive.  Easily reproduced by using physics (grenades) to interace with the lictor ragdoll.  
++ Fixed in 6.20 by completely rebuilding the ragdoll and re-animatng the lictor ++

I guess this really isn't a bug but It might qualify.

The bolter, not heavy bolter just the regular. If you hold you're reload button and first mouse button its kinda wierd, can't really explain.

+++ For me this fires 1 shot then does a reload then repeats, this is what I would expect.  Are you seeing something different? +++

source sdk base bug.

I think this bug is when you don't have source sdk base installed, then you install it to play the game, it says you're playing source sdk base in the steam friends or steam chat. Not Exterminatus

Graphical Bug:

This isn't a major issue, but during a game on thunderhawk me and some other tactical marines were on top of the building right in front of the thunderhawk.  The whole right side of a heavy marine was black, and it was very strange looking.  I don't know how it happened but I have only seen it once.

The Walking Warrior bug. I was playing as a warrior and decided to hit the walk key (alt). My warrior slowed to a walk speed even after I let go of the walk button.

Workaround: Pressing ALT again does nothing, but sprinting fixes the problem.
Resolution: This was fixed in the 5.01 patch.

BUG: Not enough spawn points on huge servers results in people spawning out of the objective markers.

+++ Could be map and objective specific, do we know which maps and which objectives? +++

Its any map when theres more people spawning than there are spawn points, def. digsite, thunderhawk, hive as thats where i saw it happening.

The zoom bug
Pressing the zoom key after dying enables zoom and keeps it until pressing it again.
Resolution: This was fixed in 5.02

Blobby crosshair bug.  In low texture mode the graphical crosshairs become difficult to use.

from Stick1000 on moddb.

suggested fix: write procedural crosshairs to replace the bitmap graphics or just don't mimpmap the crosshairs.

Resolution: Removed mipmapping from the HUD graphics in 5.02

BUG: Hive's final control point for the tyranids frequently breaks meaning they cannot cap the last part of it. It appears to be that the map is not ending on cap without the death of the entire other team, thus allow re-capping of objectives.

SUG: have the two final objectives lock out all others when there capped.

Resolution: Make the final objective insta-win, rather than just capping the marines last objective.  In 5.02[/url]

When I started playing on a heavily populated server i found my ping to be quite high and lagging alot, found out my rate was set too low so i upped it and now problem sovled. also i found sometimes hl2 crashes during map switch but its no probs reloading game and reconnecting. but there may be a connection problem however i dont know if its server side or not.

map geometry, some tyranid classes cannot fit through some doorways or have to crouch down e.t.c just wondering if this has already been addressed.

otherwise awesome mod, definantly in my top 5 i'll keep posting anything i notice.

Sound bugs

no matter how far away team mates or enemies are you can hear the attack from anywhere on the battlefield as if they are right next to you. kinda gives away a potential rush attack..
