What's new In Rival Species 2?

Although many of the same team members participated in its development, Exterminatus is a completely new mod compared to Rival Species for Half-life.

Here are a few gotchas that might catch out players expecting RS2 to be RS1 with shiny new graphics:

• Most classes can sprint, only the Terminator, Heavy, Lictor and Zoanthrope can not
• Each team has it's own HUD
• All classes can magnify their vision to zoom in
• Reward points are not carried over between rounds/maps
• Reloading does not use up a whole magazine
• Close combat attacks do not immobilize you
