A little off topic...Get A life mod

I know this is user discussion and its for exterminatus, but I could not find anywhere else to put it  and Chrome Angel or Typheron, don't hesitate to delete if you think this is the wrong spot.

Has anyone EVER played Get A Life mod? ( no its no a joke, its a real mod its single player and is GREAT) I need some help trying to figure out how to set up hammer for it, I can show you my tools/options thingy but it says its wrong because I can't see the grids.
Game Data Files:$Steamdir\SteamApps\SourceMods\Get_A_Life\getalife
Game Executable Directory:$SteamUserDir\half-life 2\hl2
Game Directory:$SteamDir\SteamApps\SourceMods\Get_A_Life
Hammer VMF directory:$SteamDir\SteamApps\SourceMods\Get_A_Life\maps

Build Programs

Game Executable:$SteamUserDir\half-life 2\hl2.exe
.BSP executable: $SteamUserDir\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\vbsp.exe
.VIS executable: $SteamUserDir\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\vvis.exe
.RAD executable: $SteamUserDir\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\vrad.exe
Place compiled maps in this directory before runnign the game: $SteamDir\SteamApps\SourceMods\Get_A_Life\maps

You can toggle the visibility of the grid using the "mapview bar" button that looks like a # (left of the ^3D# button)

Tried asking in there forum? They may have more experience in issues like this.

Although given the graphical nature of the issue, it sounds like something important is corrupt.

Yea I tied asking on there forum, they haven't said anything about stuff since like 08 and thats when it came out, so I chosed a "Alive" area forum. Sorry to the Get A Life people.
