and this maybe off topic and you can move and delete this or whatever, but I was playing and I was thinking that this would be awesome for Left for dead 2! I mean the zombies could be gaunts with the special zombies being the more evolved tyranids like the tank could be the carnifex and the charger could be like a hive Tyrant and the smoker could be Lictor ect.

The survivors of course would be a space marine veteran combat squad fighting its way to kill the tyranid infestation on the world!

Of course different maps could be different worlds with different threats like maybe an ork or necron map though I doubt that would work like tyranids

Just an idea to put out there that maybe might spread into something and I hope it doesn't offend any of the mod staff here as its still a great mod that I think is an awesome idea that can work elsewhere. Keep up the work

Left4Dead is not really a viable platform, as you cannot actually change a lot of the content within it, which is one of the reasons that other mod moved to another game.

The problem is that you can only really re-skin the classes and guns, you cant really add your own stuff, so it would not really be 40k enough. That's also why one of the mods went for a plague theme as they found they could not get the tyranids to work and thus it had to be a human shaped thing so the animations would work with it.

So, that's the deal there and also why we wont be going anywhere near L4D with this mod.
