Hi, I'm new!

My name's Matt, I'm 23 and I spend a lot of free time mapping for HL2. I'm currently working on a mod/map-pack for HL2 called Last Resort which can be found on ModDB here:
http://mods.moddb.com/8345/last-resort/

I also have an online portfolio here (but it seems to be down at the moment):
http://www.figmentsandpigments.cjb.net/

I used to collect Tyranids when I was about 12 but since then I haven't really had a lot to do with Citadel Miniatures except recently playing Dawn of War. I love the style and setting though and I'm looking forward to mapping some of these awesome set-pieces.

I'm currently working on a swamp base map and I'll have some screenshots ready quite soon hopefully.

Welcome aboard.

The mechs are called Dreadnaughts and currently there is no plan to include them at this time, this may change at a later unknown date, but dont hold your breath as big things liek that take a lot of time to impliment.

There also a pain to balance correctly due to there nature of being uber.

when will it be released? - when its ready, no sooner.

The map dev kit should be extracted into your source mods folder under your steam instalation, mine is locatyed at:

D:\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods

then you restart steam and will eb able to access it. You will probably need HL2 and the source MDK installed as well.

Yeah i was talking about the dreadnoughts. cant you just use the code they used for that "dog" bot thing in HL2? and replace it with the mechs from WH. i know its prolly alot more complicated then that. lol maybe one day you guys could use my games engine.  Cool anyways just having the soldiers would kick butt. i like what i am seeing so far.

@ Irren - We ran out of money for the OX server, there is however a rs1 test server ran by Bahl that is used with his open alpha, see www.rivalspecies.com for the info

@ Steelkiller - No, the game does not work like that, Dog has a internal skelition and movements that are nothing like a Dreadnaught. There is no "code" that deals with the object as a whole. No magic easy way in.

that and we dont want to include vechiles of any type at this time as player useable entities.
