I know full well that you have stated your intentions of keeping this mod to only marines and tyranids, but perhaps after you get this game balanced, there could be a whole seperate mod with more races? this could be just a fun game, or a serious project. as long as i get me some orkses in source im happy But seriously, im not talking in even the near future, im just talking about a possible project so i have something closer to first person 40k to look forward to. since gw botched it and decided to make fantasy warhammer into the MMO, i've got nothin but this. Thanks for listening, keep it up with the rendering, its looking very awesome.

Welcome to the forum Neoviper. Orks would be high on on our list of additional races if and when we finish with the Tyranids. In order to try and concentrate on doing the teams we have now as well as we can i'm trying not to even think about other 40k races

Just play RS1, its got all the races Except Tyranids in it.
Also there are another few 40k mods out their that intend to do other races, part of the decision was so that we did not step on each others toes should these other mods become finished.

well, on the tabletop about half of the people who play 40k play space marines. unfortunately they are one of the less varied races, comparatively. although they have quite a lot of possibility as a simple fight the enemy race. tyranids seem like they'll be the team everyone's going for at this point, what with being stronger than marines 1 on 1 and having spawns to run around with. but overall a first person 40k game is awesome simply on the premise that you get down right into the action instead of rolling a bunch of dice.

one of the main reasons, space marine can take on anyone. there flexable so we can alter tham to do as we wish in game depending on the effects the nids are having in game.
personally i look forward to shooting missles at guant hordes and watch them fly! i should get back to animating them at some point once im done at uni and work...
...damn you real life.
Oh there will be Imperial Guard in it, the local PDF will be available as a AI support in parts of the missions, mainly holding locations against the tyranids. So at least as a marine you wont be alone.

It's actually quite obvious why everyone has SM in their games. You want the fight to be humans vs. monsters, not monsters vs. other monsters, so you need either the IG or SM. Guess what everyone choose.
Wolf -> I'm pretty sure that at the point every other Space Marine has died, the PDF is long gone. You will get your last stand (provided that you can keep alive longer than all other players). Dry your eyes and have a cookie.

Im hoping the imperial guard will be added into this mod as a playable race too.."dont worry im not whining" because i'd just love to see lots of guys with lasguns and hellguns etc killing tyranids or if orks make it in...that would be a cool match up Guard Vs Orks or even Eldar...probably spoilt for choice...space marines are still awesome.

the percentile chance of any of that happening is low. Very, very low.
