I've just installed new anti-spam mods and cleared out a batch of spambot forum users. Applogies for the inconvienience to any non-spambot users who may have been acidentaly deleted in the process.

we ban IPs all the time, my sig details the number of purged spam bots.
the problem is that recently its no longer bots that are posting, we get a few and there easy to spot, but now actual people are spending their time posting spam for a living which gets round all our security measures since its a actual human and not some pre-programmed bit of garbage.
rest assured the RS Inquisition will kill maim and purge all spambots and spammers to keep this forum junk free.

most of the bots only manage to create some stupidly named account and maybe get a silly sig with links in it, typically these ones are not much of a threat and dont get very far since they cant post.
Its the more complicated and the human spammers that get through, last time was yesterday and chrome got that one.
