Invalid Steam user ID ticket

If anyone is getting the steam ID ticket error I found out a fix. Go into / my computer / local disc / program files / steam / then scroll down til you see a config folder, delete this, you will need to check your e-mail for the code to verify steam but launch Exterminatus and it should work, I hope this helps anyone with this problem.

Logging out of steam and deleting clientregisrty.blob from the steam folder has fixed this issue for me.

really? Has that fixed it permanently, because what I suggested seems to only work for about a day or two but does temporarily fix the error.

I used your technique first, when it re-occurred I tried the .blob method.  It hasn't re-occurred since. 

I don't think their can be a  permanent fix with a self updating system like Steam  ( until Valve fix it anyway ).
