ASSAULT CANNON
Its has four shots, great strength, decent AP, and RENDING
Even though its heavy, the only things that can have it are tanks and Terminators, so you can fire and move.

railgun, 72" strenght 10 AP 1, that´s just never ever boring to fire at characters.

I would definitely have to go with ornate Bolters and Assault Cannons on Terminators. Those things will tear everyone to pieces, even lightly armoured tanks!  |

Bolter and all its variants. EMPEROR'S WRATH DELIVERING TOOL FTW !
On second rank, Barbed strangler, because moving freely and shooting artillery-like template that insta-kills Nobz, Marines and whatever is unlucky enough to fail his save roll is just purely awesome, if the target survives, it's still pinned down, last but not the least it's also a decent anti tank weapon !
Probably the weapon that scored the most kills in my army (Hundreds and hundreds of Imps/Boyz/Fire warriors have fallen to my fexes with that lovely weapon..)
For Rival Species : Typheron's rocket launcher, Alhaus Lasercannon... How painful these memories are ! My personal bets are on chain sword + bolter pistol aka "Slash and shot down" (If you peeps remember the raptor/assaut marine/sarge rampage with that combo on the chaos/BT map with force fields or IW/BT with fortress generator) and shuriken catapult, the best if not overpowered basic gun : Insanely accurate, fastest rate of fire, decent damages, large magazines.

Best RivalSpecies moments were as BT biker leader on fortress, going out and leaping from my bike after a volley of bolter fire with bolt pistol and chain sword in hand to deliver a swift death to the forces of chaos before riding round again to dish out some more to the next guy Unless he's a dreadnought. Or Typheron. Then I die. |

Autocannon.
It has a decent amount of shots, so it's practical for killing anything up to and include a fire warrior (Splat!), and can do a respectable bit of damage to most vehicles too. And whats better, is they're cheap as tau-killing chips!

The inqusitor hammer, I know its not a gun but I like it the most.
The gun I would like is....Devourer, millions of worms entering you and devouring you in seconds, reaching you're brain and turning it into soup, by the way its a tyranid gun in case you guys who don't know.
