Having the Space Marines represented by Ultramarines really limits wargear options for existing classes and even those that don't exist yet, so this poll reflects very little of what Space Marines should be getting. All but one of their non character unique weapons make a Space Marine fodder in the context of how Source works.(ie depends on ping and poor Source's poor hit detection) This is why its a bad idea to leave stuff like player chapters up to the community.
Seriously their exclusive weapons are kind of lame, at least with Deathwatch you can justify having the special weapons Blood Raven get in the Dawn of War games.(had to read Lexicanum for that) Could have had Dark Angel Terminators with Plasma Cannons, but no its Smurfs.
It also sucks that only Space Puppies get Chainswords that double as power weapons in the from of the Frost blade
Especially when their best used as a shooty army anyways.
For those of you that notice, yes some of these weapons in the poll can be mounted on Dreadnaughts. So those weapons have a chance to be tested before the class itself, same with the Hive Tyrant as both Warrior and Fex use his weapons. Also speaking of the Tyranids, I'm going to split their dakka (ranged psychic attacks included) and melee weapons into separate polls. As they get a lot more options for existing classes.
