I've decided to write about what's going on from Severus' location, so here it is. Enjoy Cheesy

---

A dreadnought with purity seals and litanies stomped down the road. A Techmarine was repairing a damaged land raider. A squad of Space marines was storming down a grated bridge.
A chimera pulled up at the Officio Administratum. The back opened up and a Space marine with a pair of lightning claws got out. Captain Severus had got his battlefield equipment changed. He was accompanied by two Familiars and a servo-skull.
Severus walked towards the door of the building and opened the door. Inside, a Grand Inquisitor in carapace armour was swinging a sword for practice. He noticed Severus and put the sword in the ground. "What brings you here in this dark hour, my son?" he spoke.
Severus signalled to his familiars and servo skull.
"Captain Severus. Please sit down."
"I'll stand." Severus was usually more comfortable when standing.
"My son, you are weary, and you have tears in your eyes. Have you forgotten the will and strength of a Space marine?"
"No."
"Are you here for more training?"
"No."
"Then why are you here?"
Severus hesitated. Then, "We've received recent transmissions from Kronos IX. we urge you to send the fleet there."
"Kronos IX...? But that system does not exist."
"It does now." Severus walked over to a table and pressed a button. A hologram of Ultims Segmentum appeared. "Somewhere in the middle sector. Kronos IX stands on the fire of Chaos, and the greater good."
The Inquisitor looked at the hologram. He pointed to a system. "Is this it?" he asked.
"Inquisitor Lucius, you should take a break." Severus pointed to a lower system. "This is what you're looking for."
Lucuis, because that was his name, put his hands to his chin. "And you have concern for this place because...?"
"Because it stands in the name of the daemon gods and the name of the greater good."
Lucius walked over to pick up his sword, then he put it in a sheath. "Well..."
Severus looked to the system hologram.
"Get me my thunderhawk. And I want you to get me through to Captain Lysander immediately. We're sending the fleet of Rogal Dorn to deswtroy all who stand in the name of evil itself."
Severus nodded and walked away, signalling to his familiars and servo skull to follow. He was going to form the fleet to Kronos IX.
"There will be no feast for Chaos."

A thunderhawk entered the atmosphere and got on to a landing pad. On the side were symbols of different types of armies. A Land raider dropped to the ground and started reversing as soon as it landed. It got on to the road and accelerated down.
It stopped outside a building, completely different from the Officio Administratum. Out of the Land raider came ten different commanders: Captain Varian of the Imperial Fists; Marshall Sethis of the Black Templars; Captain Sicarius of the Ultramarines; Captain Tycho of the Blood Angels; Captain Macius of the Dark Angels; Wolf Master Kane of the Space Wolves; Iron Father Mantis of the Iron Hands; Captain Borian of the Raven Guard; Brother-Captain Incrus of the Salamanders and Captain Titus of the Saffron Warriors, a legion like no other.
Severus opened a door to let through the ten commanders. They walked in to a big reoom with a huge table. In the middle of the table was a hologram of Ultima Segmentum.
The ten captains took seats. Severus walked over to sit on the table too. At the far end of the table was Inquisitor Lucius, standing up with a pointer.
"As you already know," he started. "Captain Severus of the Iron Blades sent out six members of his company to retake Kronos IX from the hands of the greater good. You have been called to aid these men wsith your armies. Some of you already know that Kronos IX is a very big planet, and we need everyone to take it from the grasp of Chaos/Tau control.
"Recent transmissions state that a Hive Fleet of Tyranids has come in to battle coded Mandragora. Two of our men were attacked, one of them killed. Brother Magus managed to send back a wave of transmissions to Hellar IV before they got bombarded. Now I understand that marines of the 2nd company are already at Hellar IV, but here's the thing: Hellar IV, before it was about to be attacked, reacted to Cassius' and Magus' calls too soon and were shot down by Ion radiation, which started an Ion storm somewhere around the Kronos Borders here."
Lucius used the pointer to pinpoint where the Ion storm started.
"Why would your marines do that, Severus?" Titus spoke, voice very clear.
"What, call for aid too soon?" Severus answered. "I don't know, they're not my highest command."
"Yes they are. They're veterans in your company, you deal with them, therefore they're your priority."
"I have higher issues to deal with right now."
"And what issues would you speak of, Severus?" Mantis asked. They were starting to interrogate Severus now.
"This is not a matter of interrogation if you will please," Lucius spoke.
Titus stood his ground in the matter before proceeding. "Why did you not go with your little team-?"
"- The Inquisitor said we are not to speak of this matter right now. We need to discuss what we are going to do about the planet. This is why he called you here, members of my brother-chapters. Because we need aid, not interrogation."
"The man's right," Sicarius spoke. "What are we going to do?"
"Orbital strike," Incrus spoke. "Best proceedure and most recognised threat of our 'friends'."
The inquisitor was in deep thought. But the sound of the Orbital Strike made him pay attention. "Orbital Strike?"
"We can use markers on which parts we're going to strike at." Sethis spoke, "then we can actually proceed."
"The question is, where do we actually mark our strike at?" Tycho asked. "We have thousands of command centres, stock areas, armouries... The planet's too big to perform a normal strike."
"Then perform two," Kane spoke.
"Two and we'll still have loads of command centres to deal with," Severus spoke. "Have you even looked at the planet properly?"
Lucius pressed a button. The hologram zoomed to Kronos IX.
"You've got planetary defence platforms, over twenty thousand lifeforms, underground control centres and laboratories, even an Ion cannon. We will never get in to the planet's defences so easily."
"Then what do we do?" Sethis asked.
Everyone's eyes went to Severus.
"We send the raiding parties there. We let no-one escape. And if people do escape, we kill them. Now I want everyone on this planet to recruit for the army if they can. Any man who refuses to bear arms will be shot, any woman who refuses to work will be shot and any child who does not assist the Emperor in this dark matter will be punished. Understood this, men?"
"Your words are well clear," Sicarius spoke.
"Good. May the Emperor's heart be with you at this hour, this meeting is hereby ajourned."
Everyone around the table stood up and walked for the door. Severus walked over to Lucius. "I know what I'm doing," he said. With that, he walked past the Inquisitor and towards a set of steps.

Boo yah, got good reputation already!... Well, for this chapter. I couldn't really think about anything with Magus and Cassius, so I thought "Maybe I'll do dome stuff with what's going on where Severus is..."

Well, this was epic Cheesy. I agree with Wulf that it was a good choice to have something else than just pure combat.

The writing was decent and things were clear enough so you didn't have to guess what was happening there. I'm waiting for the next part
