Alpha 8.07B includes new and updated soundscapes from DontAsk, updates to 5 maps, updates to 5 tyranid player skins and a skybox fix for Leviathan infested maps. It's not 8.08 because there are no changes to the code, but you will need the patch to play on the updated maps.
Installer
Zip File Patch (contains only the changes since the previous alpha)
- Navigate to the "Tools" section on your Steam games "Library"
- Install the "Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer"
- Run the Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer at least once.
- You can exit once the menu has finished loading.
Install the latest Exterminatus Alpha- If you already have a copy of the EX alpha, delete it.
- Run the alpha installer and follow it's instructions.
- Restart Steam. You should now see both the Exterminatus Beta 8 and Exterminatus Alpha listed in your library.
Bug Fixes- Fixed a Leviathan skybox irregularity that prevented cube maps building correctly.
Tweaks- New sound effects and soundscapes by DontAsk.
- New naming convention for soundscapes requiring a re-build of map that use them.
- Updated ex_valley with hivefleet Levianthan infestation.
