Alpha 8.14 includes updated versions of ex_wreckage and ex_m, some balance adjustments, exploit fixes and new voice acting.
The FTP is on the blink again, so i'm relying on ModDB to authorise and distribute this version.
Install the Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer- Navigate to the "Tools" section on your Steam games "Library"
- Install the "Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer"
- Run the Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer at least once.
- You can exit once the menu has finished loading.
Install the latest Exterminatus Alpha- If you already have a copy of the EX alpha, delete it.
- Run the alpha installer and follow it's instructions.
- Restart Steam. You should now see both the Exterminatus Beta 8 and Exterminatus Alpha listed in your library.
Balance- Nerfed meltagun damage from 30 to 22.
Bug fixes- Fixed an exploit with breakable objectives on ex_valley an ex_city_conflict.
Tweaks- New marine battlecry by Stormwolf 597
- Increased the volume of the warrior death sound.
- Updated ex_wreckage map by newbie mapper Straydoom, based on early feedback from alpha 8.13.
- Updated ex_m_3 map with basic lighting and increased architectural detail (still no textures).
- Updated ex_city_conflict (minor tweaks to the bio-materials objective).
