Alpha 8.19 includes updates to ex_forge, new mecanicus decals from DontAsk, soundscape tweaks and melee weapon sound fixes.
The FTP is on the blink again, so i'm relying on ModDB to authorise and distribute this version.
Install the Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer- Navigate to the "Tools" section on your Steam games "Library"
- Install the "Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer"
- Run the Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer at least once.
- You can exit once the menu has finished loading.
Install the latest Exterminatus Alpha- If you already have a copy of the EX alpha, delete it.
- Run the alpha installer and follow it's instructions.
- Restart Steam. You should now see both the Exterminatus Beta 8 and Exterminatus Alpha listed in your library.
Balance- Nerfed spawn protection down from 10 seconds to 3 seconds.
Bug Fix- Chainsword making fleshy sounds when hitting the world.
- Various melee attacks not playing the right sound when hitting the world.
Tweak- Added adeptus mecanicus decals made by DontAsk to ex_forge an re-worked the landing pad vent entrance.
