Just can't wait for this mod, I love RS.

You guys should spread news of the mod around. PlanetHalfLife mostly and amped or moddb.

Well I'll poke my head around here.

Good Luck.

EDIT:: Sorry I know this might be asked alot but will the first realease of RS2 be simple marine vs marine just to get things started or the entire game full of classes, weapons, and maps?

Hopefully just mvm for know but I'll help get a name for the mod on various websites but please post the media update on Planet Half Life. THats how I found your mod was through the forums.

If we have the time and the content done for MvM before the polls close we might well take a stab at it before the main show Wink

Nice.
I just wonder, how long will it take to make a chaos marine skin for Bob?
Ultramarines almost never fight each others, you know...

Man I hope this mod dosn't loose all of its players like RS did. Please post the next media update on some websites. As far as I know you guys are the only 40k Source mod and other one on PHL died. So this would be great to get all of 40k fans following the mod.

A good start would be submiting the mod here http://www.hl2mods.co.uk/ Alot of people go here to look for HL2 mods and they have just about everyone. But PHL would be great too.

I just tried registering at hl2mods.  What a waste of time.  Their site is badly broken.

PHL has a long history of not publishing RS related news, but we keep trying...

Just wanted to add, that anyone active on a W40K or other Games Workshop-games related site should post a link to this site.

So that 40K'ers who are not spending a lot of time looking for mods can find it too

as PR dude ive been hitting many 40k and hl2 mod sites posting about rs2 and other bits and pieces. I tipically get a frosty reception from most of the main forum goers.

Sorry to sound like a pain telling you to post the mod on all these websites. But I just don't want RS2 to become like RS1 where no one plays it. RS has all these great features too.

But Planet Half Life has changed some and has gotten new news people. So keep giving it a try.

You guys should flesh things out more before you go on a PR rampage. Wait until you've decided on a setting and all the associated game mechanisms figured out. Wait until you've got more media and a prettier website (no offense, its perfectly funtional and user friendly).

That way when people visit the site they'll be blown away and come back for more later, rather than writing you off as another half baked mod that'll never see the light of day. Plus you'll attract more team members, which'll help the mod along.

well here in lies the problem, we dont have a full dev team yet, so untill we get a few more people to assist all we can really do is produce models and slowly animate and code it as we lack people who specilise in that field.

Need PR to get members to make the mod.

In part i would think that given that the team has already made a semi sucessfull HL1 mod that would would not be so easily dismissed as half baked.
