About the BETA test.

Im writing this one out to explain to you all how we decided who would be invited to the Beta Test, as theres been talk by many as to why they never got an invite.

Testers were picked on the basis that they forfilled a few of these conditions:
#1 - That they had in some way contributed to the mod
#2 - That they hand been involved with the RS1 community
#3 - That they had helped us in the past
and finally and most importantly
#4 - That they were KNOWN to us, us being the collective Dev team.

The simple and most common reason that people got in on the Beta was that a Dev team member knew them from either gaming with them or from hanging out on the IRC channel.

We are unwilling to allow just anyone into the Beta, a lot of whats in there is unfinished or downright broken. A certain mentality is needed is also needed for the testing system we use, so we had to be sure on who we let in.

Finally, the Beta is now full and will be for the forseeable future. Should we choose to ask more people to join it, it will be done in the same manor as above.

I will update this thread with information about the Beta as we go as a mini news post. Fun stuff has happened and we do want you to know about it.
