The process of polishing and refining Exterminatus continued in October.  Our published videos so far  have been rather focused on the marines, this month I would like to share with you some of the game play from the Tyranid team.  Things went slightly slower than I had hoped for this month.  Various visual improvements I had in mind for the melta weapons proved to be fruitless as did porting over various bugfixes from the Valve wiki, which ended up sucking up most of my month.

[BF]LionHeart (also of Battlefield 40k) joined our beta testing team and proved his immediate worth by pointing out performance issues in our most complete map Dig Site, which Typheron has been working to address.  LionHearts invitation to our closed beta is another example of how we prefer to collaborate rather than compete with other 40k mods.

For those of you interested in the state of Exterminaus map development Typheron has posted a summary of the maps we have and are working on for the mod on our forum.  Since the coding was such a fizzle this month I have turned my attention to additional models for the mod, adding 40k style buildings to the skyline of my latest map Lycantium, which you can see in these screenshots.

You guys are getting there slowly but surely and I must say, I'd much rather you take your time and make it a great game rather than rush it and have it released full of bugs and half-finished maps!

Good going on the work you've done so far, the pebbles fill up the sack!

I look forward to seeing what work you will get up to in November!
