Ohh orchestral... reminds me of Alien, the Matrix and Dawn of War.  A good combination.

Thats very good, my only concern would be the glockenspeel/pinging bits from about 0.21-0.30

They appear slightly out of place and odd, almost a playful interlude in a more heavy and morose tune. For  me it seams just off.

Very nice but it does need work.

I think it needs to be more fluid and what Typheron said.

Ok. So I don't have a lot of time to re-do everything. So I found a nice royalty free site and mixed a couple songs then followed up at the end with something I made. Enjoy THIS ear candy.

Woooow, I am listening to it as I type this.

Starts of with a nice Imperial military sound to it.  Reminds me of the Terminator. Hah, this is really good.  I can picture this as being menu music or something like that.  Bit of a abrupt change at 0.54 there that doesn't really flow with the music but still nice.

Ah, a beautiful rise at 1:15!  Oh yes this is of the most delicious ear candy good sir!  I do like this.  Another weird change at 1:43 though, hah.  Going through stages of mind were you?

Very nice, dramatic and slightly sombre with a tone there that reminds me of sunlight behind burdened clouds.  I think that captures the struggle of the 41st millenia brilliantly.

Well that was great.  My only advice would be to make those changes in tone flow more.

Yea, no problem. I couldn't decide what mood to use. But what if I went from the middle (buildup) to beginning and then used that end part the same and fixed the flow.  Grin

There starting to get overly complicated with too many different "styles" being used and overlapping in places. Generally i would run with a Main beat, something grandiose and dramatic repeated then with a elaboration upon it.

The best example is the Dr Who theme:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LF2x5IKxmAQ

Oviously this is too happy/shiny sci fi for 40k, so somethign more gothic, or heavy (but that i mean the nature of, nto the actual musical type).

You inital theme had a arrangement in there, simple back line thats elaborated upon and then mixed into more intense music arround the 26 sec mark. It needs to be fairly simple (since its background) and intimidatign to reflect the bleakness presented in 40k.

Yes, the other tune i had in my head was that of the Terminator theme, its a good example of the tone it has to have.

Okay. I liked the terminator stuff, but I couldn't make it work with looping.  Cry
But with some clever crescendos, I made this one last almost 4:00 FLAWLESSLY. I really like the feeling it puts out. At least this could make it to a trailer or even credits  Grin (if you make one)
Tell me what you think of the fourth (and maybe final!) theme.

Theme 4. You WONT be disappointed.

I like theme 4, but it seems a bit too calm, it seems to be more suited for after the battle.
