Hmm... I was wondering if there was any possibility that we could work a bit more together with the other 40k mods out there. I know there isn't a whole lot, but if we could get some models, props or maps that are already made, that would mean faster development for Exterminatus  I know some people (myself included) thinks Bob needs some improvement. I also know that the long-dead (I've been to the funeral myself, last active forum user :cry: ) 40k mod Battle grounds 40k http://www.planethalflife.com/bg40k/marine/ have a very beautiful and compleatly skinned marine. If we could get our hands on that, it would mean more time for Chrome to do something else. (It was Chrome doing that, right?) This was just one example. I guess we could really exchange some models with the french site, as they are pumping out models really fast. |

While I am all in favor of exchanging content, I havent been terribly impressed with the models of most of those other mods. I wouldnt mind sharing models of equal quality, but most of that stuff would seem to need more work to get them up to scracth that it would to create them from new.
The quality were aiming for is the reason why there will only 2 teams in Exterminatus, because it takes time to produce models up to standard.
I look forward to exchanging content with Orgun's spacehulk mod, he seems to have the level of quality (and above!) i'm looking for.
Sorry if it sounds eliteist, picky or stuck up, if people's sumbissions dont make the grade, but we need these standards to distinghiush ourselves from the other 40k mods.

its not me in command there, but i wouldnt take the BG40k Marine. its more of a bunch of tubes than something carefully modelled to me. the author just didnt seem to feel like really finishing the model.
so far i did not see a better high poly space marine than bob, but i think you could improve his impression with a different skin. especially the 'metal' white parts at places where its supposed to be dark from shadows are distracting.

i came up with susan the lictor ^^, i was determined to name one of them susan, it it isnt the lictor its the marine sergeant ( Sergeant Susan )
