Hi all

Just watching some of the clips on youtube, looks promising with current model development.

Anyways I noticed that the Bolter is being used as a semi-automatic weapon , but the bolter comes with three firing modes single shot, burst fire ( 3 - 4 shots ) and full automatic.

Also the clips size seem to come from a 20 round clip to a 30 round clip with other exotic varients ( drum mags , belt felt and etc etc).

Also whats with the pistol being in the middle of the screen a space marine doesn't need the extra control due to the auto senses in-built into the helmet and there physic ( due to gentic modification)

The bolter is a fully automatic in game, you press trigger, it shoots till theres no ammo left. The definition of fully automatic is not in how fast it shoots, but how it shoots.

we are well aware of the alternate fire modes of the bolter.

Clip size varies drastically in the fluff, our clip size was chosen as a viable gameplay amount first.

The bolt pistol is being held in two hands, as a stylistic preferance, your over thinking the rest.

The Bolter you have been presenting in your youtube videos shoots like a semi automatic.

I can tell you right now its Fully automatic, the definition of which is this:

Quote
fully automatic firearms will continue to load and fire ammunition until the trigger (or other activating device) is released or until the ammunition is exhausted.

The activating devide is your mouse button (or rollerball or whatever) and it will keep firing untill it runs out as long as you keep it pressed. Rate of fire is NOT what determins if a weapon is fully or semi auto, its the mechanisum by which it fires.

It may not be clear in the vids, but thats what it is, although technically by todays weapons terminology its more of a autocannon, not to be confused with the 40k version.
