more than likly, as how else do you move between the upper levels, although i woudl think the trains would be "private" like hiring a bus or the like. Remeber AG tech in the imperium is rare.

Right, maybe those upper class trains are not that public but I was thinking more limousines and private cars, on which we have already had some discussion

Hmmm, a very interesting vehicle that looks like it'd suit the 40k universe is the new-ish Chrysler 300c, it's a nice mix of old and new, and I can very easily imagine Adeptus Arbites detectives driving about in it. Maybe try and create a similar style for prop vehicles?
Another idea to toss around is walker vehicles, Forgeworld's Forked Loader Sentinel is a good example. Maybe a big four-legged walker with a crane winch assembly suspended under its body? Most of the fluff I've read mentions Imperial cities to be a hectic mix of industrial, administration and hab-blocks, with heavy transport vehicles often moving through buisness districs and the like.

At Games Workshop where I live, the staff have managed to build trucks and stuff using Wartrakk and Sentinel material.
